As a follow-up to the editorial of the last issue, our dream has now come true, and now the journal is in the safe hands of an international publisher who is handling most of the affairs of the journal. The journal production and presentation is now more attractive and highly professional. Besides, the journal is now going online as a free-access journal, and in this way, it is being advertised to a broad international body of readers. Even in the current issue, we are already publishing articles emerging far beyond our geographic region. We are also expecting a surge in submissions from Asia and Africa and beyond, as this is the only journal on sports medicine in Asia and Africa as far we know.
We are now too gratified with the progress made by Saudi Journal of Sports Medicine so far and looking forward with much optimism for a brighter future for the journal.
